Lorie Shewbridge on July 9, 2009 at 12:01 PM said...

We take turns bringing food to one of the girls houses, and I usually bring the WINE (always wine). There always has to be chocolate. The food is NEVER good for you food, it has to be stuff we tell the kids (who are NOT there) not to eat too much of because it is bad for you! :-)
Then we talk about EVERYTHING well into the night.... and MUCH laughter ensues, and sometimes tears, but that is what we are there for, always for each other!

My typical girls night in usually means some type of "creative" cooking my friends and we love to experiment with new foods and flavors but the kids and husbands are not always so willing so that is perfect for just the girls. Then we gossip, catch up, and enjoy the meal. Then it is time for a "chick" flick with some popcorn and something sweet that we have made earlier too.
